By installing, playing, or having the modification, or any part of
this modification on your system, you abide by and agree to all these
terms listed herein this document.

DO NOT CHEAT

Plain and simple.  By installing and using Paintball2, you agree not
to use any cheats or modify the game content in order to gain an
unfair advantage while playing against human opponents.

DO NOT HARASS OTHER USERS

Repeating annoying phrases, degrading or belittling other users,
intentionally killing teammates, impersonating other users, and other
forms of harassment are grounds for banishment.  Using this
software means you agree to abstain from such behavior.

Quake and Quake 2 are trademarks of id Software Inc., Mesquite, Texas.
This patch is not a publication of id Software, who should not be
associated with it. id Software will not answer any questions related
to this product.

Permission to use, copy and distribute unedited copies of this whole
quake2 total conversion is hereby granted, provided that no fee is
charged for the use or availability.  The product must be distributed
in its original format as released by Digital Paint.  Any use of any
part of the patch for any other modification, or public use of any
kind is strictly prohibited.  Personal use of the contents of this
package is hereby granted given. This entails the requirement that
the used items do not leave your own computer in their original or
modified format, except for backup purposes.

Permission is granted to use the textures and other graphics* included
in this product for your own design purposes of add on LEVELS for
Digital Paint Paintball 2, and no other mod, unless express _written_
permission is obtained from Digital Paint. The textures may not be
redistributed in any form, including on a webpage, in any other mod
or the like. Modification of said textures and graphics is also
prohibited by all parties, except for personal use.  Once again this
entails that the files not leave your computer excepting for backup
purposes.

All screenshots obtained while playing this mod are property of
Digital Paint.  Digital Paint retains all rights to prohibit use
and distribution of said screenshots.  

Some materials in this quake modification are not property of Digital
Paint, and therefore are not covered by these stipulations. The
following list lays out the parts which were not DP's. If the owner
or person with intellectual rights to a product contained within
this modification wishes to have it removed, Digital Paint will
promptly make an effort to oblige.

- Death sounds are not property of Digital Paint and may be redistributed
   without the stipulations listed above.  They are used without permission.
- All gun/co2/hopper/barrel sounds are property of Texas Outlaw (Brian
   Quandt), a member of DP. Request permission from him to redistribute
   under his terms.
- The base code for the quake2 engine and game DLL is property of id Software.
- Quake and Quake 2 are trademarks of id Software Inc., Mesquite, Texas.
- The Paintball2 game engine is released under the GPL and can be distributed
   independently of the game content so long as it meets the terms of the GPL.

If any person/company is missing from this list and wishes to have credit
added, email jitspoeATplanetquakeDOTcom with the list of products owned by
yourself and credit will be given, or if requested the product will be
removed and a public apology will be given.

This agreement is subject to change. Digital Paint retains all rights to
all products relating to Digital Paint Paintball 2, and rights to all
products which are designed for use in conjunction with Digital Paint
Paintball 2.

Any violation of this agreement will be prosecuted to the full extent of
the law under your state jurisdiction. There are no warranties, express
or implied, regarding fitness of this software for any purpose.
